Income tax refund

An individual who has worked in Poland, received income, and paid taxes is advised to submit an annual income declaration. This declaration reflects the income received, taxes paid, and relevant deductions applied according to personal circumstances. Once the tax authorities process the declaration, they will issue the refund.

Documents required:

This is your tax identification number in Poland. If you don't have a document showing your NIP or PESEL number but know it, simply enter it into our application form.
PIT forms are official documents issued to you by your employer or other institutions after the end of the fiscal year. These forms provide details about your income (wages, unemployment benefits, bonuses) and taxes paid. Each institution issues a separate PIT form.
Note! You can still start your tax refund process even if you do not have any PIT forms. In this case, include any document you have stating your income and tax details.
Example:
To initiate the tax refund process, we require a valid passport or ID card to verify your identity and citizenship.

Processing time: the processing of the declaration typically takes 1 to 3 months, but the final decision period depends on the Polish tax authorities.

Service fee: 16% of the refunded tax amount, but not less than 79 EUR for an individual tax declaration.
For declaration including spouses or children, the service fee is 16% of the refunded tax amount, but not less than 99 EUR.
