If you worked in Holland during the past five years and paid income tax there, you can apply for tax refund! What documents do you need? For us to start your refund procedure we require just 2 things. 1. Jaaropgave forms or final pay-slips for each job. NOTE: If you don’t have Jaaropgave form nor the final pay-slip – No Problem! You can still apply for the income tax refund! We will collect the missing documents for you! What is Jaaropgave form? Jaaropgave is a document issued by an employer. It contains full information on your income and taxes. Jaaropgave must be issued after the year is over, however not later than the 31st of January. What is final pay-slip? The document which contains information about the income received and taxes paid and which is issued by the employer each time when paying your wages is called pay slip. Your Last Pay Slip contains the information on the total income ant taxes paid since the beginning of the employment or since the beginning of the tax year. What if you do not have all the required documents? If you are missing any of the documents you can still apply for the income tax refund. How long does it take to get the refund? The refund period depends on when you apply for tax refund and for what employment year you are applying. Tax year in Holland ends in December 31st and if you submit all documents to RT Tax before June 1st you will receive your refund in 6 months. If you apply later then the refund may take up to 12 months. NOTE: Under different circumstances the refund period may be longer or shorter. It depends on how fast Holland Tax Authorities issue the refund. How will you get your money? Holland Tax Authorities issue tax refund to RT Tax.
